For Your Information

L.A. Limousine Services has been providing the premier Naples limo service to the southwest Florida community for over 10 years. In that time we have been asked for information and advice about a large number of topics. Since we have satisfied and helped a number of individual clients with our expertise, we felt it appropriate to share the knowledge with everyone. So, for your information:

  • If a company does not offer to fax or email you a confirmation for your limousine reservation within 48 hours, request one.
  • Use your American Express card if possible to book your limousine. They are always supportive and friendly when addressing a complaint should you have one.
  • To "short-stop" a potential problem, verify that the limousine company that you choose is properly permitted to operate in the area you have contracted for.
  • Remember the old caution - "You get what you pay for". In other words, if the price is too good to be true it most likely is. It costs money for a good, insured, licensed and permitted limousine company to operate. A low rate for a service probably reflects that one of these requirements are not adhered to.
  • Always ask how many years a limousine service has been in business. It is a fact that longevity does confirm the reputation of a business.
  • A good rule of thumb is to increase the limousine size by two people when shopping arround. A ten passenger limousine includes the driver and front seat in addition to eight passengers.
  • Most companies will need a credit card to reserve a limousine. However, if you will pay cash you will have more negotiating power in terms of the price.
  • When you call a limousine service and the receptionist sounds "non-professional", most likely the company is operated in the same manner.
  • Many limousine companies will provide champagne on ice, and allowing the chauffeur to open the bottle for you is the best practice. Opening the champagne inside the limousine can make a mess and may cause a extra clean-up expense for you.
  • When booking the limousine, clients should give a specific address to avoid any misunderstanding e.g. "the Holiday Inn on Rte 2" vs "1200 Rte 2, Somewhere, Fl 33302" - the second address will always be found.
